Thioctic acid is a natural ingredient in the body, and it is a strong antioxidant that helps lower the level of liver enzymes and is an essential ingredient for the proper functioning of aerobic metabolism. The horse\u2019s body produces thioctic acid in small amounts. To maximize aerobic performance, it is important to have a balanced amount of thioctic acid among the levels of liver enzymes.
